OSHO Afroz is situated on the south-west coast of the Greek island of Lesvos near the traditional village of Eressos. It is to be found hidden among the shady olive groves of the Psinia plain and is surrounded by impressive volcanic mountains.
Just 2.5km away lies the beach of Eressos, which is one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the Aegean Archipelago. It is host to bars, tavernas, coffee shops, water sports and a small outdoor cinema.
Further along there are quieter areas at the western end of the beach for those who seek solitude or naked bathing. Along the coastline are a variety of beaches that can be accessed by hired scooter, car or even a short walk.
Lesvos Island is located in the North Aegean. You can travel to Mitiline Airport (main city of Lesvos), by direct flight through Athens and Thessaloniki (Greek mainland) or from other European cities.
By ferry
You can come to Mytilene from the Greek ports of Piraeus and Kavala or from Turkey (Ayvalik).
You can get from the airport or port of Mitiline (main city of Lesvos) to Eressos in several ways:
Taxi
You can take a taxi from the port/airport (around €90-100) or you can book one in advance (at least two days before your arrival) from Eressos village for€85 (taxi driver Stratis: 00306944751115 Viber/WhatsApp); Stratis charges per ride not per person.
Public bus
The bus routes are at: https://www.ktel-lesvou.gr/?new_lang=en (you to go from “Mytilene” to “Skala Eresos”). Please note that the bus schedule is not very frequent.
Car rental
Rent a car for the day of arrival. You could combine that so as to explore the island a bit and return the car in Eressos.
